Encaustic wax medium cakes, that is. Beeswax, damar resin and oil colours. Good fun but very smelly.

On my ceaseless quest for suitable imagery for painting I came upon this scene in deepest Pembrokeshire. Could this be a useful new direction? I feel more research is necessary.
