The Friends of Lime 3

Stir Well Before Use – the third album from The Friends of Lime – is available here

This is The Limes’ first studio outing since 2010. The seven new tracks will feature on their forthcoming World Tour of Gloucester along with old favourites such as “Hey Nimrod” and the classic “Don’t Put That in There”.

Stir Well represents a significant watershed for TFOL. As well as new soundscapes and colour washes there are journeys into established genres like Psy Trance (“It All Started”) and some messing with ambient jazz on “Levee Breaks”.

However, it also marks the departure of Rupert Darwin from the band. Rupert will be “spending more time with his family” before embarking on a disastrous solo project and a slow decent into alcoholism and depression. We wish him well.
